This site can give you a voice that will be heard by your HOA management, Board of Directors, Association Lawyers, Property Management and the HOA membership. Publicity is a strong tool that none of the above want.

Homeowners in a Covenant Community (HOA) can express an opinion by giving a rating of their HOA published on the Internet. A rating is an opinion that is a member’s right to express under Freedom of Speech as in the First Amendment.

A Member’s rating his/her HOA is one of the most effective methods of communication and least expensive for an owner to express his frustration when there is conflict with the management.  It is important to know if your HOA management team is a member of the Community Association Institution (CAI). Ask your Board of Directors  if anyone has a membership in this organization. Add this fact in your comments while rating your HOA.

The Annual budget, monthly assessments, financial statements are an important factor in determining if the management is being performed properly. Is there an annual CPA Audit performed? Have lawsuits been necessary to get the Books of the Association opened? Is Robert Rules of Order used for Monthly and Annual Board Meetings?  A Sample Demo Rating is provided below for your review to show how easy it is to complete this rating service.

Litigation in our courts seldom brings results and proves very expensive. How to use your HOA’s recorded documents and cause your rights as a member to be enforced can work without hiring a lawyer.
